A suspected arms smuggler who was recently apprehended by security operatives – is reportedly cooling off in police custody.
According
to reports, the suspect, believed to be a Fulani man was nabbed with
arms by vigilante members at Pategi ferry Port in Niger State.
He was immediately tied up by the security men and handed over to the Emir’s security escort.
Few
weeks ago, troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army, Kaduna, arrested three
notorious gun runners in Rijau area of Niger State and recovered 44
rifles.
