A 24-year-old Nigerian man has been arrested for allegedly robbing an old woman and attacking police officers in Italy.
The
suspect identified as Lucky Ebon, reportedly approached the 74-year-old
woman and pretended to be friendly before allegedly snatching her phone
from her and fleeing.
The woman raised an alarm and called the cops who immediately arrived her residence.
The
Nigerian was said to have been tracked down close to the woman’s house
and violently resisted the police officers with kicks and punches.
He
was later subdued by the officers with pepper spray and will be charged
for robbery, violent attack on public officials and resisting arrest.
