In Saudi Araba, A Nigerian woman have been executed with 3 others for drug trafficking, bringing the number of people put to death in the Middle-East country this year to 53.Confirming that a Nigerian woman was executed in Saudi Arabia, the country’s Interior Ministry disclosed that she put to death on Monday along with two Pakistani men and a Yemeni man in Islam’s holiest city, Mecca.
While the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has refused to yield to the demand of abolishing the death penalty which it argued serves as a deterrent against crime, human right experts across the world on the h repeatedly raised concerns about the fairness of trials in the kingdom which is governed under strict Islamic law.
