Nigerians have aired their opinion about ladies wearing waist beads, a thing which is fashionable but most times attributed to voodoo aka juju.
In a Twitter thread discussion, some men say they find it sexy when ladies wear beads, while many stated that they cannot have sex with any lady wearing beads on their waist. According to them, charms are often laced in such beads.
Examples of charms which are widely believed to be laced in such beads are love charms, destiny destroyers and ‘do as I say’.
However, some quarters believe beads are simply for weight checking. They say when the beads get tight, it simply means one is adding weight.
