The kidnapping of five female students from the Federal University, Dutsinma was verified by the Katsina State Police Command on Wednesday.
The police also reported that a man believed to be a terrorists’ informant had been detained.
However, as of Wednesday morning, no information regarding the incident had been made available.
The incident and the arrest were confirmed by ASP Abubakar Aliyu, the spokesperson for the Katsina Police Command.
