Nine Feared Dead On Lagos/Ibadan Expressway Accident
Nine persons have been confirmed dead in a fatal accident involving a Mercedes-Benz Marcopolo bus and an Iveco truck at Aseese area of the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway in the early hours of Tuesday, October 23rd.
Accoridng to the FRSC Ogun State Sector Commander, Clement Oladele, 42 persons were involved in the accident which was caused by the bus after it lost control while on top speed. It collided with the parked truck with registration number AAA XP.
Oladele confirmed that seven male and two female adults died in the accident and that their remains have been moved to the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital mortuary in Ogun state.
