Notorious Armed Robber Gunned Down In Delta

A notorious criminal who terrorized various communities in Orhunwhorhun, Delta state, has been gunned down by the Delta State Police Command.

A team of policemen attached to the Delta State Police Command has gunned down a notorious armed robber in Orhunwhorhun, Udu Local Government Area of the state

Southern City News learnt that the police took the remains of the deceased to the Ebrumede Police Station.

Details of how the notorious robber was killed were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report.

Sources said the robber had terrorised various communities in the local government area and some parts of Uvwie.

One of the sources stated, “He fled the town when the former Divisional Police Officer of the Ovwian/Aladja Police Division, CSP Anieteh Eyoh, was deployed in the area.

“He later resurfaced months after Eyoh was transferred to the state police command headquarters, Asaba.”

When contacted, the state Commissioner of Police, Adeyinka Adeleke, confirmed the incident, saying, “Yes, it is true. A suspect was killed yesterday (Saturday).”
