Notorious Kidnapper Captured After Gun Battle With Police (Photo)

Men of the Nigerian police command in Katsina have apprehended a notorious kidnapper following a fierce encounter with the notorious gang along Tsiga – Huguma road, Kafur LGA of Katsina state.

This was disclosed to newsmen in a press statement by the Police Public Relations officer, SP Gambo Isa.

RECOVERY OF ONE AK 47 RIFLE WITH BREECH NO. 20174 AND TWO BAJAJ BOXER MOTORCYCLES FROM SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS/ARMED ROBBERS:

On 14/01/2018 at about 20:00hrs, Police Patrol Team attached to Kafur Division, had a fierce encounter with a notorious gang of suspected kidnappers/armed robbers along Tsiga – Huguma road, Kafur LGA of Katsina state.

The team succeeded in dislodging the bandits and recovered one AK 47 rifle with breech No. 20174 with eighteen rounds of 7.62mm of live ammunition and two Bajaj Boxer motorcycles abandoned by the bandits.  Investigation is ongoing.
