Nyanda is a Jamaican singer, songwriter, and performer. She was born on October 8, 1983, in Kingston, Jamaica. Nyanda’s music is a mix of reggae, dancehall, and pop, and she is known for her powerful vocals and energetic stage performances.
Nyanda began her music career as part of the musical duo Brick & Lace, which she formed with her sister Tasha in 2002. The duo gained international recognition with their hit single “Love Is Wicked” in 2007, which topped music charts in several countries. Nyanda later embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut single “Slippery When Wet” in 2013.
Nyanda has collaborated with several artists in the music industry, including Major Lazer, Pitbull, and Shaggy. She has also worked as a songwriter, penning tracks for artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Mya, and Nicole Scherzinger.
