OAU Professor Of Medicine Shot Dead By Armed Robbers (Photo)

A Professor at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Jerome Elusiyan has lost his life after being shot by gunmen.

A senior lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Prof Jerome Elusiyan is dead.

Elusiyan died on Friday after being shot by gunmen along the Benin-Ekpoma Expressway in Edo State.   The Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex, was attacked at Iruekpen after being waylaid alongside his driver, who was also shot and sustained injuries.

The Prof. was transiting from Benin where he went to supervise medical students sitting for professional exams at the Iruua Specialist Hospital.
