The newly appointed members of the Ogun State governor’s cabinet, including commissioners and special advisors, will be sworn in on Friday.
Recall that Abiodun had already sent the Ogun State House of Assembly the names of his nominees for commissioner for review and approval.
The Assembly approved the nominations after the screening and declared them qualified for their positions in Abiodun’s cabinet during his second term in office.
On Friday, the governor will appoint more than 20 Commissioner-designates, the majority of whom were members of Abiodun’s first-term administration.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, the swearing-in ceremony is planned to take place at 11 am at the Executive Council Chamber of the State Secretariat, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.
