The appointments of the state’s parastatal leaders have received the approval of Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf.
Sanusi DawakinTofa, his chief press secretary, informed newsmen of the appointments in a statement on Wednesday.
DawakinTofa claims that the appointment was made in order to strengthen good governance by appointing the right people.
These people have been appointed:
Youth Empowerment Director General Salisu A. Kabo; Debt Management Director General Dr. Hamisu Sadi Ali; and KAN-INVEST Director General Abduljabbar Mohammed Umar
Others include Hamisu Dogon Nama, Managing Director of Kantin Kwari Market, Abdulkadir B. Hussain, Managing Director of Sabon Gari Market, Mustapha Adamu Indabawa, Managing Director of Abubakar Rimi Television (ARTV), and Yusuf Kabir Gaya, Executive Chairman of SUBEB.
