| Ousmane Dembélé updates
What’s going on now with Ousmane Dembélé and his contract situation with Barça? 
The current situation is difficult & complicated, as @gerardromero reported tonight. Remember: Ousmane’s current deal expires in June 2022. 
- Ousmane Dembélé agent Moussa Sissoko had a meeting today with FC Barcelona board.
- The meeting was absolutely not positive as Barça board told Dembélé’s agent they’re NOT able to give him the salary he wants.
- Barcelona want to try and negotiate again to keep Dembélé but Ousmane’s not happy with club position right now.
- Dembélé and his agent don’t like Barça plan as they spent €55m for Ferrán Torres, they’re planning for important deals next summer… but they say they’re not able to pay the salary Ousmane wants.
…and so what happens now?
- Dembélé position is very clear: he wants to stay but he will ONLY sign if Barcelona will offer him the salary/contract he wants.
- Barcelona will try again but now the feeling is different, all parties see the current situation as “very complicated”.
- Two Premier League clubs have already had contact and approaches with Ousmane’s camp to sign the French winger as free agent in summer 2022. Ojo.
