Thomas Partey returned from injury as Arsenal failed to beat Crystal Palace in the Premier League encounter at Emirate Stadium on Thursday night.

However, both sides had chances to win the match with Arsenal skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was denied by Spanish keeper Vicente Guaita.
There was more goalmouth action at the other end, with James Tomkins heading an Eberechi Eze free-kick against the bar and Christian Benteke drawing a fine save from Bernd Leno with a nodded effort of his own.
As a result, Arsenal and Palace remain in 11th and 13th places respectively in the table
