Petrol Tanker Gutted By Fire At Alakija, Lagos (Photos)

A petrol tanker was gutted by fire today at Alakija area of Lagos. The petrol tanker which was abandoned along by the driver, was gutted by fire along the Lagos-Badagry Express Road close to Alakija Bus Stop in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos.

According to sources, the fire service were alerted and they arrived
moments later. This came after residents of the area lamented over state
of the road, which according to them had caused more harm than good to
users.

This is coming few months after it was reported that a petrol tanker
spilled its content along the Lagos-Badagry Express Road between
Barracks and Onireke Bus Stops in Ojo Local Government Area, causing a
fire outbreak that destroyed seven vehicles.
