Photographer, Kola Onifoto dies in motorcycle accident weeks after writing ‘I won’t fall and die on this’ while happily announcing he’s now a biker

A young man has died after suffering an accident while on his motorcycle.
Orowole Samuel Kolapoz, better known as Kola Onifoto, died today, March 2, at the age of 35.
He had made a post on Facebook on Sunday, March 1, announcing that he was going on his first solo trip on his motorcycle out of Lagos and he’s headed to Akure. That was his last post.

Sadly, hours after he shared the post, friends announced that he had been involved in an accident and was in the emergency unit of the FRSC at 7UP, Ojota, Lagos. He was later moved to LUTH, according to friends who gave an update on Facebook while calling for prayers for him.
Sadly, despite efforts to save him, he passed on on March 2.
Just weeks ago, precisely on Jan. 15, Kola announced that he had achieved his dream of becoming a biker. He shared a photo posing beside his new bike.
In the caption, he wrote: “I recently became a new biker. One of my life dreams clocked and achieved! I won’t fall and die on this -Amen!”

Besides being a biker, Kola was also a photographer, an Uber driver, a naval officer, and a writer.
His friends have gone on Facebook and X to mourn him.
