Photos From The Arrests Made By EFCC For Vote-Buying

EFCC officers were on ground across the nation to monitor and observe vote-buying at polling booths and they made some arrests.

According to the EFCC, Musa Umar, 38 years, from Dukku Local
Government, Tudun Wada Ward. He was arrested at a polling unit in Waziri
North of Dukku Local Government bribing a police officer the sum of
N3,000.

Musa Umar claimed that Babangida Bappah Chiroma, 31 years, from Dukku
Local Government, Waziri North Ward, gave him the sum of N20,000 for
vote buying in the ward.

Abdulkadir Yusuf Rasheed, 55 years, from Dukku Local Government,
Waziri North Ward, was arrested around the same area in Dukku, he is the
chairman of Dukku Local Government Area, Babangida claimed that the
chairman gave him the sum of N100,000 for ward delivery to the PDP party
agents.

Ibrahim Abdul, 49 years, from Akko Local Government, Bomala Ward, was
arrested at bomala polling unit, Bomala Primary School. He is a PDP
agent and was arrested with the sum of N17,000 intended for vote buying.
