President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Abuja from Katsina, where he had gone to vote in the 2019 presidential and other elections.

The elections have since been postponed by a week.

The news of President Buhari’s arrival in Abuja was conveyed in a tweet by his Special Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, via his verified Twitter handle, @BashirAhmaad.

He wrote: “President @MBuhari has returned to Abuja from Daura, Katsina State after a sudden postponement of the Presidential and National Assembly elections by the INEC, scheduled to hold today. #NigeriaDecides”
