Police Arrest Two Armed Robbers After Gun Battle In Bayelsa
A four-man robbery gang engaged a team of policemen in a gun battle in Bayelsa on Sunday, at the end of which two of them were arrested. Spokesperson for the command, DSP Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the arrest on Sunday, said that the armed robbers operating in a tricycle with a locally made pistol robbed one Kelly Effiong at Ebis Road, Biogbolo of one Techno phone valued at #45,000, and an ITEL phone valued at #4.500.
