Policeman Who Killed A Soldier In Port Harcourt, Arrested
A soldier was, on Thursday, shot dead by a policeman, leading to pandemonium in the popular Ada Goerge axis of Port Harcourt.
The suspected killer has now been arrested. Witness account had it that the soldier identified as Akin, lodged at a hotel along Elipranwo part of Port Harcourt, before the incident occurred. .
The witness said the victim, who was in mufti and armed with gun, was on his way from the hotel, when he was accosted by the police officers attached to Ada George police station. .
“The policemen probably mistook him for a criminal and shot him dead,” the witness said.
