“Prostitutes Don’t Pay Tax”– Police Says, Among Other Reasons The Act Is Seen As A Crime In Nigeria
The head of police Crime Response Unit(CRU) and an Assistant Commissioner of Police(ACP) Yomi Shogunle has shared that prostitution is illegal and a big crime in the Nigeria constitution.
Yomi Shogunle’s remark is because of the outrage and feedback that followed the police arrest on whores in the Abuja city.
Shogunle who made his claims known through his Twitter handle shared that prostitution is a wrong on the grounds that:
•Prostitution is a sin under the 2 main religions of FCT residents
•Medicine says Prostitution is spreading HIV & STD
•Prostitution is the lifeline of violent criminals
•Prostitutes don’t pay tax
•Nigeria’s culture frowns at Prostitution
