A rapist was caught because he had a Liverpool FC ­tattoo on the back of his head. Richard Paton, 48, attacked a woman in her 20s after offering her a lift home in June.

He struck again later that month — inviting another woman in her 20s to his home in Bury before raping her.

Cops identified him after spotting his tattoo on supermarket CCTV.

He admitted rape and was jailed for 15 years at Manchester’s Minshull Street crown court in London.

Detective Con Ian Smith called him “a predatory opportunist”.
