Record Maker! Edo State Born Doctor Becomes First Ever African President Of World Medical Association

Edo State born former President of the Nigerian Medical Association, Dr Osahon Enabulele, has become the first Nigerian and African to bec elected as Chairman of the Socio-Medical Affairs Committee of the World Medical Association.
The election which was held on Friday, 26th April, 2019 in Santiago, Chile, at the 212th Council meeting of the World Medical Association, WMA saw Dr Osahon become the first Nigerian to hold the enviable position.
Dr Osahon is currently the Vice President of the Commonwealth Medical Association and the incoming President of the Commonwealth Medical Association.
He is also the coordinator of the Coalition of African National Medical Associations (made up of all National Medical Associations in the African region).
