Rivers ADP Governorship Candidate Unveils 4-Point Agenda

The Action Democratic Party (ADP) governorship flag bearer in Rivers
State, Hon. Victor Fingesi, has unveiled a four-point developmental
agenda.

Fingesi, who flagged off electioneering campaign at his
home town in Okujagu-Ama community in Okrika Local Government Area of
Rivers State, said he would provide alternative to Rivers people.

He
said his party had come to provide alternative to Rivers people in view
of what he described as the reckless behaviour of “the so-called major
political parties that had held the people of the state to ransom.

He
said the major parties had embarrassed Rivers people by promoting
violence, internal bickering, running the state as their private estate
with no vision to transform the lives of the people.

Fingesi said
the four-point developmental agenda of the ADP-led government in the
state would be focused on empowerment of Rivers’ people, reduction of
poverty, provision of standard and qualitative education and food
sufficiency through agricultural programmes.

He said God had
heard the prayers of Rivers people, adding that the major political
parties which do not have the interest of the state at heart are being
removed.

The gubernatorial candidate said the APC was entangled
in litigation which had foreclosed their participation in the 2019
elections, arguing that a serious legal issue was also erupting in the
PDP.

He said the development would make way for the ADP to emerge as the alternative party and clinch the governorship seat.

Earlier,
the ADP deputy governorship candidate, Mr Onwusameka Ogbowuokara, said
the administration would give consideration to the environment.
