Cristiano Ronaldo refused to take the captain’s armband during Juventus’ 3-1 win over Udinese, instead preferring to pass it on to Blaise Matuidi due to the Frenchman’s seniority in the side.
The Portuguese superstar was given the armband by Gonzalo Higuain who had inherited it from Leonardo Bonucci following the Italian’s withdrawal
When the Argentine was substituted, he passed it to Ronaldo but, due to seniority, instead decided to give it to Matuidi.
