Rugged Vigilante Member ‘Scorpion’ Dies After IPOB Rally In Abia (Photos)

A well known vigilante member has died and been laid to rest after being shot in Umuahia, Abia state. 

It
was gathered that the deceased identified as Bright Nwoye popularly
known as Scorpion, was the second in command of Anambra state vigilante
group (AVG) and also a member of the “Lion Squad” of the Indigenous
People of Biafra (IPOB) in Anambra.

He was said to have been hit
by a stray bullet from soldiers during the recent Jewish protest staged
by IPOB members in Umuahia, Abia state capital. 

He reportedly came back from the rally four days ago with a bullet injury day and later passed away on Thursday.

The deceased has been laid to rest in his home town in Ikwo, Ebonyi state..
