Some notorious kidnappers terrorising the Ogbakiri/Buguma routes in Rivers state, have been gunned down by security operatives and their victims released.
It was gathered that men of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (F-SARS), organized a predawn sting operation that uncovered their hideout following an intelligence report.
According to reports, the nurse that was kidnapped – activated the sting operation and has since returned to her family.
She was reportedly kidnapped on last Wednesday evening and was kept until Tuesday morning several days before her rescue.
