A young man ought to thank his stars, after a soldier saved him from the claws of SARS operatives at ring road, in Benin, Edo state.
According
to reports, the SARS operatives during a patrol, sighted a young man
who was on dreadlocks at the popular road and started harassing him,
with claims that he’s a Yahoo boy.
When the incident got messer,
the officers tried arresting him and at the same time, tear gassed the
eyewitnesses who tried to intervene in the matter.
Luckily enough, a soldier who was on mufti noticed what was happening and intervened in the matter.
The angry mob in the area, resulted into taunting and booing the officers after the young man was saved.
