Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning artist from Nigeria who also goes by his stage name Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, has mentioned that he is thinking about taking a vacation from music.
Burna Boy expressed his thoughts on his Instagram account, saying he is thinking about taking a vacation from music because of a lucrative contract offer he recently received, taking inspiration from wealthy Barbadian-American artist Rihanna’s hiatus.
Burna Boy said that the substantial deal he has been offered is a test of his dedication to music.
“With the numbers I’m seeing on this contract, these next years of my life are about to really show if I really love doing music.
“God must really want to test my love for music. I just might bounce on y’all like Rihanna,” the 32-year-old wrote.
