The Gombe State Police command paraded 18-year-old Mustapha Isah on Thursday in connection with the death of 58-year-old Aishatu Abdullahi, a mother of eight children.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mahid Abubakar, who was leading the suspect, stated that the 45-year-old Muhammad Abdullahi had complained to the command at Pantami Division that his mother, Aishatu Abdullahi, had been killed by an unidentified individual using a knife.
Abubakar stated that police officers from Pantami Division responded to the area after receiving the report and discovered Abdullahi in a bloodpuddle.
Despite being taken to the Federal Teaching Hospital in Gombe right away, a physician there declared her dead.
