This is the Iju railway station, Agege, Lagos.
It is the terminating and originating terminal for commuters going to Agege, Agbado, Kajola, Papalanto, Yaba, Ikeja-Along, Ebute-Metta, etc.
The Iju train station building is an old structure built over 60 years ago during the British rule in Nigeria.
This train station is part of the network of railway lines in the ongoing project to connect the bustling coastal city of Lagos to Nigeria’s third-largest city, Ibadan, in the second stage of the government’s railway modernisation project.
The modernisation project under the supervision of the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) will see to the construction of 144km (90 miles) of railway tracks.
