
The 25-year-old Nigeria international has impressed in the top tier
of German football by making 21 league outings for Paderborn and laid on
two assists from the left flank plus even scoring against champions
Bayern Munich.
According to Transfermarket claim that Newcastle United ready to
battle English Championship side Fulham are also in the race for
Collins.
Newcastle are likely to be after a left-back once again this summer
with Jetro Willems and Danny Rose are only on loan at The Toon, with
Spurs ace deal not including a permanent option.
Mainz, Hertha Berlin and Schalke are also keen on the Kaduna-born star who could be available for a bargain £2.6million.
Collins started his career with Abuja Football College Academy before
a spell at NK Pomorac, NK Krka, HNK Šibenik, NK Istra 1961, Šibenik and
Paderborn.
