The lives of three policemen have been claimed by a car crash along Kidanda, Giwa local government area of Kaduna State.
A source told DAILY POST that the accident occurred around 9pm when the victims were returning to Giwa local government area after participating in the Eid-el-Fitri Hawan Dauche celebration in Zaria City on Sunday.
The source said around Sako village, Kidanda ward, the tyres of the vehicle the victims were travelling in, developed a fault, resulting in the accident that led to the death of the three officers.
The accident, according to an eyewitness left three others with various degrees of injuries and they were taken to a hospital for medical attention.
The State Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Jalige, who confirmed the accident, prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and the quick recovery of those injured.
