Tragedy was averted after a three storey building under construction collapsed yesterday night after the heavy rain in Aba, Abia state.
According
to sources, the building which is located at the extreme end of park
road by east street, collapsed due to the alleged usage of substandard
building materials.
It was gathered that two persons were trapped in the building, but were rescued by neighbors and taken to hospital.
