Three Victims Rescued As Immigration Arrests Suspected Human Traffickers

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) says it has arrested two suspected human traffickers and rescued three of their victims in Katsina State.
The NIS Comptroller in the state, Mr. Ajisafe Joshua Olusola, disclosed this during a press briefing yesterday.

Olusola identified the suspects as Omoseyin Solomon, 43, and Omoniyi Olowoporoku, 32, all males.
He said they were arrested separately at Mazanya and Daura Patrol Border Base between January 17, and 19, 2019.

He
said one of the suspected human traffickers, Solomon, claimed to be
husband to his victim, Akinbayo Ashobi, a woman known to also be a human
trafficker.
