Tragedy averted as a spinning ceiling fan falls in Unilag hostel
What
could have been a major tragedy was averted on Tuesday, in a room at
the Fagunwa Hall of Unilag, as a spinning ceiling fan fell in the middle
of the night.
The blades of the fan narrowly missed the occupants of the room but tore a part of their mattress before crashing on the floor.
The students, who were terribly shaken by the narrow escape, said they were woken up by the deafening bang.
