Two females have been identified as victims of a boat accident that happened on Thursday in the Ikorodu region of Lagos State: Misturat Okunbanjo, 18, and Azeezat Amoo, 16.
It is said that at approximately 8 o’clock in the evening, four more people were saved in the same occurrence.

In a statement, Ololade Agboola, the agency’s deputy director of public affairs, claimed that residents helped firemen undertake a search and rescue operation that resulted in the retrieval of the remains.
The state Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the tragedy on Friday and stated that the passengers were traveling from the Olorunsogo section of the village to Isawo when the boat overturned.
