A man known only as Collins was taken into custody after it was claimed that his girlfriend, a 300-level University of Port Harcourt undergraduate, was murdered.
The unfortunate event happened in Rivers State’s Obio/Akpor Local Government Area along NTA Road, Mgbuoba.
Four days ago, Justina Otuene Nkang, a student studying biological chemistry, was reported missing.
When she was last seen, she was reportedly completing her Industrial Training assignment at a well-known private hospital in Port Harcourt’s D/Line district.
Justina’s mangled and decomposing remains were discovered in her boyfriend’s apartment, which she had visited four days prior during the hospital’s closure, according to a person close to the victim.
The deceased’s breast, eyes, and other delicate bodily parts were mutilated, indicating that her boyfriend killed her for ritualistic purposes.
