Papy Faty, a Burundi international has lost his life while playing for his football club in Swaziland. The footballer is reported to have been suffering from a heart disease but refused to hang his boots collapsed on the pitch within 15 minutes of the match, was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Papy was part of Burundi’s qualifying team to this year’s AFCON Finals. His country is drawn in the same group with Nigeria.
