Weapons Recovered From Arrested Thugs After Attack On PDP And APC Members

About 28 thugs have been apprehended in connection with the destruction of public property during the presidential campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano on Sunday.

Over the past 24 hours,
Kano has witnessed an upsurge in violence as a result of an attack on
the residence of Prince Abdullahi Abbas, the Chairman of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano, and a reprisal attack on the house
of Abba Kabiru Yusuf, the PDP governorship candidate.
