A woman who abducted a 6-year-old boy at Okoti Okoti in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra state has been arrested.
She was arrested by men of the Anambra State Police Command.
The victim, Chidube Simon Udeoba, was reportedly kidnapped on Wednesday evening, April 19, 2023, while playing with other kids.
Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), confirmed the development on Thursday night, April 20, 2023.
“Chidube Simon Udeoba Found. Chidube Simon Udeoba who reportedly went missing on Wednesday evening has been found. Recall that the unfortunate story of his kidnap filtered in yesterday after he went missing while playing with his fellow kids in Okoti. ABS can now confirm that he has been rescued from his abductor and the suspect has been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command where further investigation has since commenced.” the report reads.
