Governor Mohammed Badaru has promoted 10,540 staff from 2016 to 2020.
The chairman of the commission, Alhaji Lawan Abdu Babura disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Dutse.
He said out of the figure 1,827 were promoted in 2017, 2,554 in 2018, 2,304 in 2019 and 2,697 in 2020.
Alhaji Lawan added that 1,661 staff were promoted this year, while the commission is processing other civil servants’ promotion this year.
He said 1,760 staff retired from service between 2016 and 2020.
The chairman added that the commission was preparing for the review of its act to enable it meet with the international best practice.
