2019 AFCON: Iwobi Breaks Silence After Algeria Defeat

Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi has break silence for the first-time after Super Eagles were beaten 2-1 by Algeria in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations semifinals encounter at the Cairo International Stadium.Two goals for Algeria after a William Troost-Ekong own goal and a late Riyadh Mahrez stunner to hand Desert Foxes first final in 29 years after Odion Ighalo had equalised from the penalty spot.  Iwobi who scored the winner against the defending champions Cameroon take to his Instagram page to rue Super Eagles miss to played his first Africa Cup of Nations final on Friday against Senegal at the Cairo International Stadium.  Iwobi hopes to featured against Tunisia in the third-place on Wednesday night to add the 51 games he played in all competitions throughout the 2018-19 campaign, scoring six and assisting nine goals along the way.
