The state chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara state, Hon. Awali Liman Kaura, has expressed his joy and satisfaction over the victory of the faction of the party in the court.
Addressing
newsmen at the Government House in Gusau, the Chairman stated that the
victory was a victory for democracy and the party in general since the
party won’t be losing out from contesting the general elections in 2019.
He
said that now that the serious legal battle was over, the party would
settle down to map out strategies on how to take back the state that
belongs to the party.
According to him, there was no doubt
that there are tough time ahead considering the friction in the party,
noting that the dust was beginning to settle down.
He however denied that there were cracks on the walls of the party in the state.
The
chairman appealed to all the aggrieved members to sheath their swords
and work together to ensure perfect victory for the party in the general
elections.
