Today, more than anything I appreciate that my mother is still here and very present in my life.I recognize that it’s a privilege and blessing many don’t have.
So as I laugh and make more memories with her, I remember all the mothers who’re not with us anymore; especially their loved ones left behind.As we celebrate I know they can’t share in our excitement and this day only serves as a reminder of their absence.
