Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo, just turned a year older and according to the actress she is not scared of getting older as it is always a time of gratitude, hope and optimism.
Uche Ogbodo who released beautiful photos for her birthday, also penned down a birthday message to herself. She wrote on Instagram;
Happy birthday to me! For some reason, I always become quite reflective around the time of my birthday. Unlike some people, I don’t ever dread turning a year older. I love growing older, evolving and reflecting on where life has taken me. My birthday is always a time of gratitude, hope and optimism. I’m always excited to think about what the year ahead will hold, while remembering to not let the past define me ! I Sit in a different car now as I look ahead , “Anything is possible “ ‘Cos I’m not the girl I used to be . Happy birthday to me.
Yes! it’s been some 365 days of rigorous activities! It’s been some weeks of waking up, sleeping and going about the business of the day. Uche Ogbodo is a popular Nollywood actress, script writer, producer, television personality and a model. She was born on 17th May 1986 in Enugu State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. She is currently 32 years old. She is very beautiful, creative, talented, gifted and intelligent. Uche Ogbodo was born in Enugu State, her home town.
She is the second child in the family of five children. Her father contributed so much in her acting career by enrolling her into the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood). Uche Ogbodo completed her primary, secondary and tertiary education in Enugu State, Nigeria. Her journey to Nollywood began in 2006 following the decision of her father to register her with the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) in their office at the National Museum in Enugu, Nigeria.
In 2006, Uche Ogbodo rose to fame after featuring in several Nollywood movies. Uche Ogbodo has acted in more than 200 Nollywood movies which include Be My Val, Family Romance, Festac Town, Forces of Nature, Four Sisters, Gamblers, His Holiness, His Last Action, Honour My Will, The Laptop, Light Out, Royal Palace, etc.
In 2015, Uche Ogbodo won the Fashion Icon of the Year at the 2015 Fashion Icon Awards. In 2016, Uche Ogbodo acted in the popular Nollywood movie “Mummy Why” the movie won her an award for Best Supporting Actress at the City People Entertainment Awards.
The actress has won several awards which include Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards and Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the City People Entertainment Awards.
