I hear people shouting Jorginho, and I come to my thoughts and say these ones never saw Yaya Tourer play, and they were silent, no shouts of Ballon d’or for a defensive midfielder who scored a Historical +20 Goals in one season.
He was a defensive midfielder remember. He went on to win AFCON, but Jorginho is more busy with spot kicks, but the shouts for Ballon d’or are so loud. It’s all about where you come from and who you are.
Talent wise they far behind to what Yaya Toure offered. And we had many more players who ruled European football. In EPL in particular, the top scorer is always from Africa, there most so called tough league in the world…
But they don’t see our players as tough enough to win big Awards , although they always dominate their tough league.
