Semi Ajayi made what could easily pass as the block of the season but couldn’t save West brom from a 2-0 defeat against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Ajayi has been a mainstay for the Baggies and played a prominent role in their promotion from the Championship last season.
West brom were yet to win a game in the 2020/2021 season but it was the Cottagers who smiled away with the three points and coincidentally their first win of the campaign courtesy first half goals from Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Ola Aina.The win takes Fulham a spot above West brom on the Premier League table after seven matches this season so far.
