Akwa Ibom To Host This Year’s CAF Champions League Final At The Nest Of Champions, Uyo 

According to Adepoju Tobi Akwa Ibom have submitted a bid to host this year’s CAF Champions League final at the Nest of Champions, Uyo.

CAF delegation reportedly arrived in Uyo on Saturday night for the inspection of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium following Akwa Ibom State’s reported bid to host this year’s CAF Champions League final in Uyo.

The 2022 CAF Champions League final will take place on 29 May, and ahead of the final, Akwa Ibom State reportedly submitted a bid to host it at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium which is also known as the Nest of Champions.

And in a response to their request, CAF has sent their delegate to inspect the 30,000 capacity National Sports Stadium before deciding if their request can be granted or not.
