APU’s 73rd Meeting To Hold In Abuja, Nigeria.
OrderPaperToday – The Secretary-General of the African Parliamentary Union (APU), Mr. Nzi Koffi, has announced that the organization will hold its 73rd Meeting in Abuja, Nigeria.
Mr. Koffi revealed this on Thursday during a meeting with the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, and other leaders of the National Assembly.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Saraki welcomed the APU boss and members of his delegation to Nigeria and noted that he is delighted Nigeria was chosen to host this year’s meeting in October.
He also welcomed other the African Parliamentarians expected at the event, while informing them that preparations towards a successful event were already underway.
Mr. Koffi thanked Saraki and the leadership of the National Assembly for accepting to host the body’s 73rd Meeting and concluded by noting that he is satisfied with preparations for the event so far.
